Term 4 Indoor Hockey for mixed teams will be commencing on Friday 16th October.

For the uninitiated - in this competition we have a draw, but no ladder. The standard is amazing, but we are just here to allow kids to have fun and grow their game.

We will be running three grades:

Junior - U12 Mixed Development Competition

Intermediate - U15 Mixed Competition 

Senior - U18 Mixed Competition

Fees:

Registration fees are $150 per player.

Important notes about registration:

• You cannot enter a team - all players register individually and are allocated to a team. Best endeavours are given to place friends  together in teams, but not all requests can be fulfilled.
• You do not have to select a grade - the players will be entered in teams with peer players in the appropraiet grade. We grade the teams based primarily on experience and ability, rather than age.
• Uniforms are not required.
• The lower graded, and usually younger teams are typically scheduled for earlier times, but some games may be later.
• Coaching is provided by the club volunteers at games, but we do not do regular training.
• Development opportunities exist through MJHC, Sydney Indoor and NSBHA programs. Noitfications will be given through email and Facebook about these events.

Equipment & Uniforms:

Players need an indoor hockey stick, shin pads, mouth guard and are strongly recommended to have an indoor glove and their own face mask for penalty corners.

Uniforms are not required - we use playing bibs or will make arrangements with the teams.

Umpiring:

Opportunities to learn to umpire are available for players 12 years and above.
